I am pretty happy with how the bow holder I made for Shelley turned out so I thought I would share my hard work!

Christmas Vacation.

Once again John was awesome enough to let me go visit family while he stayed home to work! This time I flew to Salt Lake to visit my wonderful family. Every year we have a Christmas party with my mom's side of the family and I haven't been able to go for the last couple of years, so I was dying to go, and yes this trip too was worth every moment. I don't think there is anything better the Temple square at Christmas time! And then to be able to spend it with some of the greatest cousins a girl could have, well that just makes it all the better.

Can I just say I have the best family! While there me aunts threw me a baby shower! SO sweet of them!

IT IS FOUND!

I spend a Saturday deep cleaning my house, and what do you know, I find my camera cable! WAhoo! Now bare with me as we go back to Halloween.

I hadn't been home to visit my family in months and I told John "I got to go wither you can go or not," and being the loving husband that he is he let me go with no protest. And the long boring drive alone was worth every moment. How could it not be when you get to spend it with these two adorable girls! Tinker Bell and a Beautiful Bride

I even dressed up to go trick or treating with them. ( I was a scarecrow if you couldn't tell)

Lost!

I have pictures I need to post but unfortunatly I can not find the cable for my camera to the computer. I am going to give up looking and go buy a new one soon, untill then sorry about the boring blog!

I have had interest in how exactly I cut myself so bad with a butter knife, so I guess I better give a little more detail. I had washed a tupperwear and when I took it out of the dishwasher the rim of it had warped, try as I might I couldn't get the lid on. Sooooo me and my brillant ideas I figured a butter knife would be a great leverage tool. I was holding the lid with my left hand trying to push it on, while with my right hand (butter knife) I was pushing as hard as I could on the rim to get it to push into the lid! Now I think your imagination can explain the rest of the incident! ;) Butter knife slipped (no surprise since I was pushing on it will all my might) and went straight into my finger! I was home alone and had to drive myself to the urgent care, with a paper towel wrapped around it trying to squeese it to stop the blood, not so easy trying to hold that and drive. Needless to say there was alot of blood on alot of places! ;)

THANKSGIVING

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We hosted for the first time this year and everything turned out great! I am not sure why I didn't take a single picture all weekend, but I guess I don't need proof to know we had a great time.

Thanks to great inlaws my brother Danny and his family had a comfortable place to stay, and my parents stayed with us.

Thrusday = games, eating, and hot tubing

Friday = freezing cold weather as we hiked around Mt Rose looking for christmas trees, thanks to my brother and sister in law, they helped me carry my tree back to the car through the snow, since John had to work. Then delicious hot chocolate as we sat by Lake Tahoe and enjoyed the view, and rested from our hard work.

Saturday = Shopping for the girls, and movies for the boys! And then a delcious dinner at Bj's Brewery. Homemade rootbeer so delicious!

I love my family, and am so grateful for the relationship that we have! I couldn't think of a better way to spend the Holiday weekend! They are the Best!
